Perfect place for newbie glampers who have been converted. We’ve been on lots of Featherdown holidays but this time we were going with friends that were hesitant about glamping. I rang Featherdown and they recommended Warren Farm for newbies as it has a really good honesty shop, indoor ‘barn’ space if it rains and a beautiful walk down Cheddar Gorge from the campsite. They weren't wrong!

Our stay at Moor Farm was amazing from start to finish! We were greeted by Matt who showed us around and took us to our tent in the trailer on the back of the tractor, my boys thought that was amazing! The tents are spotless and equipped with everything you could need. We had pre ordered a beef stew for the first evening and I would recommend it, the best beef stew we've ever had, with masses of veg and delicious dauphinois potatoes. I was a little worried we would be cold in October, but the tents are great and sturdy, and the wood burner keeps lovely and warm for a good few hours. We were in fact a bit too warm as it was very mild weather. Saturday was the walk around the farm, helping to feed the animals and learning all about the farm, the kids loved it as it was very hands on, and more rides in the trailer! There are plenty of areas for the kids to play with woods to explore, a large rope swing and seesaw. The Saturday pizza night was lovely, the family at Moor farm were so welcoming and the food was again delicious. We had an amazing time and the kids can't wait to go back. We will be re-booking for next year. Thank you to Matt and all the family at Moor farm!

We had a glorious week on Peter’s farm. This was our 4th Featherdown Farm experience and it exceeded expectations. The view was stunning, the tents comfortable (as always) and Peter was delightful. He was so responsive and kind - nothing was too much trouble. The kids adored being free range and making new friends at the sweet play area. They loved the animals - especially the guinea fowl. Somerset was gorgeous. We had so many lovely day trips - rock climbing at Cheddar Gorge and exploring the caves, wandering around the funky shops of Glastonbury and walking up the Tor, visiting the beautiful Bishops palace to name a few. We are already planning our next Featherdown Farm holiday!

Fantastic, being in nature, the excitement of camping, open fires, with all the essentials and mod cons: proper loo, lovely hot shower, extremely comfortable beds and sofas, and a nice cafe and well stocked honesty shop to boot. Great setting, quiet, peaceful. Highly recommend.

our stay with featherdown was amazing, from the warm welcome to the accommodation the whole thing is a brilliant experience. the location was perfect and the carefully thought out touches such as the food packs and the farm tour were just brilliant. _x000D_ _x000D_ we would defiantly come again.

Really fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Manor Farm, Anna and Will were very welcoming. Brilliant farm tour by Luke and Will. Can't wait to stay again. It is very relaxing and really good fun for little ones, who can enjoy the whole farm experience, as well as the camping experience of building camp fires and toasting marshmallows!! We have decided the Feather Down Farms will be our first choice of holiday each year.

We had a wonderful time, truly special with so many memories made, our just turned 2 year old named it 'The happy, happy big happy farm' and didn't stop smiling the whole time we were there, even in his sleep!! Will and Anna couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, and Lucy made the farm tour fun and interesting, we will never forget this holiday and are already planning our return next year.
