Going without electricity is our greatest luxury!

Your canvas hideaway consists of three bedrooms, equipped with premium, unbelievably comfortable mattresses. You will find a spacious double bed, a cosy cupboard bed, and a handy bunk bed, ideal for up to 5 adults and a child up to 12 years old. Your kitchen is also fully equipped, guaranteeing the tastiest meals on your own wood-burning stove, and don't forget your own flushing toilet and private shower.

We had the best weekend at Moor Farm. Farmer Richard was brilliant - he's passionate and extremely knowledgeable and we appreciated the way he encouraged the children to embrace farm life and get involved - they loved every second. Wonderful set up where life slows down enabling you to truly relax. Pizza night was excellent and great value for money, plus we met some lovely people. Fab to have the pool as well. Thank you, we will be back!

Excellent accommodation on a lovely working farm. The tents are in a massive field and have lovely views with plenty of space for children to play. Our children loved feeding the animals, especially the pigs. The farmers Mike and Anna were really friendly and gave us an informative tour of the farm and helpful advice whenever we needed it. Other benefits included very good showers, fresh bread warm from the aga, a well-equipped honesty shop and a roast chicken dinner delivered directly to our tent one evening by Katy, The Invisible Chef.

We had a wonderful stay, our young children enjoyed every minute of our time on Manor Farm. We just didn't see them as they charged around feeding chickens and lambs and taking scraps to the pigs. We were incredibly lucky with the weather and they enjoyed 'bathing' in the hot tub. The farm tour on the trailer was also a highlight. We had an wonderfully relaxing time and being so close to London it was so easy to get there and back. A great place for a short break! We would highly recommend it.

We had the most fantastic stay at Manor Farm. We were lucky enough to have booked the hottest week of 2012 and we even had the farm to ourselves. Our children age 3, 3 and 4 had the best time splashing in the hot tub in the hot weather and chasing the chickens - they were so disappointed when we came home. The bit i enjoyed most was sitting round the campfire until the early hours of the morning with a blanket and a bottle of red staring up at the night sky and watching out for satellites passing by. We even saw a shooting star. Will and Anna our hosts were lovely and the facilities were very good. Our stay here has been one of the best holidays i have ever had, i smile when i think about our stay at Manor Farm and have just booked our next adventure to stay Billingsmoor farm in the summer. Feather Down definitely has a touch of the Darling Buds of May about it and i am so happy to be able to offer my children a slice of something so special.

Yes we really enjoyed our stay, we thought that the relaxed pace of life was great, it was so quiet and a week without Wifi, Internet, Mobiles, TV etc was just what we needed to switch off from the rest of the world and relax. _x000D_ _x000D_ And more important/enjoyable our 2 year old daughter loved it! She is so at home outdoors and It was perfect and safe to let her explore her new environment. _x000D_ _x000D_ The only concern we had was the high use of electric fencing around the tent areas (especially near the Shetland ponies) that just made us a little nervous, it would be even better if these were replaced by fencing.
