We happily recommend Featherdown to all our friends and this was our fourth holiday with you and most definitely not our last!!

We had the best weekend at Moor Farm. Farmer Richard was brilliant - he's passionate and extremely knowledgeable and we appreciated the way he encouraged the children to embrace farm life and get involved - they loved every second. Wonderful set up where life slows down enabling you to truly relax. Pizza night was excellent and great value for money, plus we met some lovely people. Fab to have the pool as well. Martin & Joby are fabulously welcoming hosts. They really made our holiday relaxing - the honesty shop was fantastic, the home baked pastries and pizzas delicious. The location of our campsite on their farm was stunning, and beautifully quiet.

We had a wonderful time at Lunsford Farm. A very sociable site where our boys aged 4 & 2 made some lovely little friends and we, as parents, relaxed a little which makes a glorious change! They were in and out of each others tents, down into the wooded dell which was secure, playing on the see saw etc and there were so many things to do in the area. The boys loved going to feed the lambs and chickens every day, collecting eggs and sitting on the old tractors in the barn. We'd really recommend this to anyone with small children. But we would suggest you take:Earplugs (canvas tent can be noisy in the adults room when it's a rainy/ windy night)Hot water bottlesCamping stove (wood burning fire takes ages to get going in the morning)Tea towels (none provided)

Your canvas hideaway consists of three bedrooms, equipped with premium, unbelievably comfortable mattresses. You will find a spacious double bed, a cosy cupboard bed, and a handy bunk bed, ideal for up to 5 adults and a child up to 12 years old. Your kitchen is also fully equipped, guaranteeing the tastiest meals on your own wood-burning stove, and don't forget your own flushing toilet and private shower.
