We had the best time. There was so much to do in the area that we didn’t get to see. Life on the farm was easy. The kids made lovely friendships, the hay bales were a definite highlight and Farmer Lucy was a delight. We will miss everything about our holiday on the farm and its surroundings.

Not had this type of holiday before but was looking forward to the thought of a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our family group age range 76, 71, 42 and 8 - it really is suitable for all! From feeding the goats, carrying the wood for indoors in wheelbarrow to playing torch tag and having tractor ride with the farm owner (so knowledgeable and interesting). It was just the best. Thank you Kate and James. We will be back

This is the third Featherdown Farm we have visited. The farm itself is in a nice remote location, easy to get to by car but far enough into the countryside that you are not disturbed by traffic.The highlight of the stay was the goats. My daughter loved spending time with them and it was a real novelty her being able to got into the pen with the goats, who seemed to love the attention from all the visitors.

Our group of 36 had a wonderful stay. Hannah and Will were magnificent and so accommodating! They provided gorgeous home cooked meals and pizzas during our stay so we could all relax and enjoy ourselves. The kids (aged 5-16) had a blast exploring and playing. The adults caught up with each other. It was the perfect stay!

A lovely stay at Heydon Grove farm. We enjoyed being so close to the chickens and calves and foraging for the abundance of blackberries and the fresh eggs.
