I stayed with my four children aged 2 - 15 years. We all had a fabulous time. Joy and Kevan were the perfect hosts and their farm is stunning. The facilities at Feather Down are amazing and it was a real adventure._x000D_ I thought I had booked a superior package (ie to have beds made etc) unfortunately this doesn't seem to have come through on the booking - so next time I will make sure that everything has gone through properly! Joy looked into it for me and it certainly didn't detract from our holiday! Thank you!

We had a fantastic time at Mount Pleasant. Beautiful surroundings and view, well equipped "tent" and very helpful farmers. We loved the farm tour and the pizza cooked on a wood fired stove was a real treat. My daughter's highlight was the pony grooming and my son absolutely loved playing football freely with his new camping friends! Thanks Mike and Anna, we will be back!

We loved every minute on our Featherdown Farm. For a family who had never camped before this was an fantastic introduction. We loved everything from the wood burning stove to feeding them lambs and the farms produce. Martin and Joby were fantastic hosts and nothing was a ever too much trouble. Our children were so happy on the farm playing with other children and making up their own games. The TV/iPad wasn't mentioned once. Cannot recommend this experience highly enough.

This was a return visit to Warren Farm and the excellent hosts Kate and James. We had a wonderful time once again. We overheard someone say this was the best Featherdown Farm they had been to, and we can see why. We had an idyllic 5 days of relaxing and letting our children have complete freedom.

I have been wanting to do a feather down farm holiday for a long time,It was everything i expected and more, We received a lovely warm welcome from our host and show around the facilities and tent, we felt instantly at home and relaxed. The Children became free range whilst on the farm and it was safe for them to do so, a huge cry from city life! The holiday was fantastic and we didn't even mind the rain, we cooked up a hearty meal and kept toasty by the wood burner and when the sun finally shone we fired up the BBQ and enjoyed some wine looking over the Mendip hills from our private outdoor dining area. It was a excellent experience that we will reflect on for years to come.

Went cold turkey on electronic devices for a few wonderful days, swapping them for the gentle rhythms of farm life. Highlight of the kids' day was collecting eggs and bottle-feeding lambs, and all 3 (aged 14-4)cuddled up in the cupboard bed together at night. Fresh air and space to breathe was what we all needed and we've come home mentally and physically refreshed.

We had a wonderful stay at Hidcote Manor Farm. The Farmer was very welcoming on arrival and throughout our stay. _x000D_ The accommodation was very comfortable and in a beautiful peaceful location. _x000D_ Our Children loved the cupboard bed and enjoyed feeding the orphaned lambs each day in the barn._x000D_ I've never seen my children so happy and content and there was not one "I want, I want" all week.

From the warm welcome to the awesome experience of the "tent" itself, my short break at Moor Farm was outstanding. I wanted a little escape from the hectic world and that's exactly what I got. The layout of the accommodation is perfect and the attention to detail was commendable. On arrival we were shown around the facilities including a lovely pool and on our request left to enjoy a couple of nights of total peace and quiet. Matt was genuinely kind and responded quickly to questions sent by text message when we needed him. Hope to book again!

We had a fabulous time! The Featherdown ‘tents’ are brilliant. Our teenage children loved it too. Nothing was too much trouble for our lovely host Sue (who made the best fresh Cornish scones with heaps of jam & cream). All highly recommended.

The site was absolutely beautiful. Being so close to Layer Marney tower, watching the deer in the morning & allowing the children the freedom to explore the woods was wonderful. The tent is very well equipped. Trying to boil water on the stove quickly is not something you should attempt (we may take a little camp stove next time!) but it’s all charming & the beds were clean, firm & comfy. We’ll definitely be back.

I loved every minute of it from the moment I walked in to the tent. The farm was lovely and peaceful and a proper working farm which was interesting for us and great fun for the kids - from feeding the lambs to playing in the straw bales. It is the first holiday where I have properly relaxed in years.

Wow what a week. We survived hurricane Kate in our tent which was fun and noisy. It was like being on a boat! We then had the contrast of the peace and quiet, later in the week; which is College Farm. Such a lovely place. Tents are perfectly positioned for a 360 view of the area. Lucy and Marcus are the perfect hosts. Animals galore to interact with and plenty of eggs to hunt for.
