October weather can be changeable, but with your wellies and jackets, there's many great reasons why an October farm stay is a unique choice.
💚 Clear skies for stargazing - many of our farms are located away from towns or even in dark sky areas, meaning the chance of seeing stars is much higher. Snuggle down around a campfire and watch the twinkling sky above.
💚 Wildlife in abundance - Watch as hedgehogs, deer, owls and squirrels forage through woods and meadows to build up food supplies before their winter hibernation. And of course there will still be animals to see at most of our farms, sometimes now in their sheds or yards to keep warm.
💚 Quieter and small-scale - with our small-scale locations, you'll never be surrounded by crowds of people. But at this time of year, it's often quieter and more serene, giving even more opportunity to slow down from a busy pace of life and enjoy quality family time together.
