Escape to a simpler life with Marisca en Anton

Discover TaarTenTuin in Aarlanderveen, South Holland. At this special farm in the middle of the Green Heart, it seems as if time has stood still for a while. Anton and Marisca take great pleasure in looking after their farm animals and guests here every day. The tents are located at the edge of the field and have a wonderful view of the water.

Surrounded by water

Hire a boat, sup or canoe and go on the water. Spot birds such as the reed warbler and the moustache. Go fishing, cycling and walking along the flowery banks. The farm is 4 meters below the Normal Amsterdam Level and the body of water is drained by the only working four-mill windmill in the world, so a visit to one of these mills is not to be missed!

What to do on TaarTenTuin

Roll out of your comfy bed and start the day with a cup of coffee in your tent! On your way back, walk past the chicken coop and collect fresh eggs. Start the wood stove, fry an egg and enjoy a delicious breakfast together. After this quiet start it is time to put on your boots! The children can frolic around, float in a rowing boat or jump in a ditch. End the day together around the campfire.
