Ferme de la Yauge
Tucked away in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes, Ferme de la Yauge welcomes you to a peaceful, rolling landscape on the edge of the forest, where silence, fresh air, and greenery set the pace of your stay.
Here, Jérôme and Marie-Laure care for their Holstein dairy cows and the local Belgian Blue breed, lovingly transforming the farm’s fresh milk into yoghurts, ice creams, creamy desserts, and other delicious treats.
The canvas hideaways sit on a wide, open meadow facing the valley, with the forest just behind. Children can roam freely between the play areas, animals, and woodland paths, while parents unwind in the hot tub or gather in the communal space, whatever the weather.
It’s an authentic, family-friendly escape - close to nature, and immersed in the daily life of a real working farm.
Good to know: in the local dialect, to go "al Yauge" meant to go and rest in a quiet place and a little out of the way... exactly the spirit of the place.

Jérôme and Marie-Laure
Jérôme and Marie-Laure are the third generation to run this 130-hectare family farm. They care for a large dairy herd and transform their fresh milk into delicious products enjoyed throughout the region. Together with their three children, they welcome guests the same way they welcome loved ones: with warmth, humour, and a genuine desire to share their everyday life on the farm.
“What we love most is watching families light up with wonder. Following the treasure map, getting close to the cows, tasting our homemade ice creams, running through the meadow… Here, you can slow down, breathe in nature, and rediscover the joy in the simple things.”
