Escape to the countryside at Het Keelven in Someren, North Brabant, where families can enjoy a true farm adventure in one of three brand-new Feather Down tents - this is what we call small-scale. Kids can ride ponies* at the on-site riding school, meet the friendly sheep, and explore walking trails right from the farm. With no screens and plenty of fresh air, it’s all about slowing down and making memories together.
*Please note that horse riding lessons are available at an additional cost and must be booked directly with the farmer in advance of your stay.

Meet your hosts
Yvonne
Het Keelven was founded in October 2006, by Yvonne Welten, who turned her lifelong passion for horses into a career at the age of 23. From the moment she first sat in the saddle at age five, Yvonne was hooked on equestrian sports. Over the years, her skills and love for animals only deepened, leading her to become a certified Level 3 all-around instructor, Western sport instructor, and WRAN trainer. She’s also experienced in dressage, carriage driving, vaulting, and even the dynamic sport of horseboarding. Today, Het Keelven has grown into a popular family-run recreation and riding centre, thanks to the support of Yvonne’s parents, husband, sister, and extended family.
