Welcome to Rob, Jenni and Oliver's farm
Escape to the beautiful Welsh countryside at Berthlwyd Farm and experience a taste of rural life on a working family farm. Run by Rob and Jenni, alongside their son Oliver, you'll step into an immersive world of nature, farm animals and stunning countryside.
Wake up in one of four spacious canvas hideaways and spend your days collecting eggs from the chickens, hand-feeding lambs and sheep, or meeting the friendly calves during the farm tour. With two hot tubs available, evenings can be spent relaxing under the stars, or gathering around the campfire with toasted marshmallows and fellow guests in the communal area.
Just 10 minutes from the farm lies the charming harbour town of Aberaeron, described by Jeremy Clarkson as "achingly beautiful" and now one of his favourite places to visit following a recent stay. As Clarkson put it, "Every one of the terraced cottages around the harbour is a different colour. It was full of Enid Blyton kids going fishing and eating chips out of newspaper."
The surrounding area offers picturesque countryside walks, exciting water sports, and even dolphin-watching boat trips. Whether you're seeking relaxation or adventure, you'll find plenty to enjoy during your stay.
A stay at Berthlwyd Farm offers the chance to experience authentic farm life in the heart of rural Wales. From meeting calves, lambs, horses and chickens to learning about modern farming, guests can enjoy memorable experiences, beautiful scenery and a warm welcome from Rob, Jenni and Oliver. You might even pick up a few Welsh phrases from Rob and Oliver during your visit!
As part of your stay at Berthlwyd Farm, you'll receive membership to the Wanderlust Camping Club, giving you access to eco-friendly camping and glamping across the UK. More information can be found at checkout and in our Terms & Conditions.
New 2026
Opening in July
Rob grew up in a farming family and, after marrying Jenni in 2008, spent several years farming on rented land before discovering Berthlwyd Farm. They instantly fell in love with it and have called it home since 2012. Soon after moving, their son Oliver was born (the saying new home, new baby was very true!). Now 13, he has his own flock of sheep, a sheepdog called Jet, and a growing collection of chickens that he can't wait to show guests.
As a working farm, they run a calf-rearing unit, produce lamb and Jenni also has two Welsh cob horses who she trains at low dressage level, and guests are welcome to help with their grooming and care needs. Each spring, guests can help bottle feed the lambs, and there's still pet lambs on the farm throughout the year.
"We can't wait to welcome guests to our gorgeous piece of Welsh countryside and share with them our working farm life" - Rob and Jenni
