The farmers were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Pizza night was great. Matts breakfast deliveries were delicious.The tents are a bit of a walk from the farm if you have very little ones.

This was our 4th year at Lunsford Farm. We are so lucky to have discovered it while the children were young, so that we can keep returning for several years. It is so much a part of their childhood and growing up. They sing on the seesaw, they build fires and dens in the wood below the campsite, they have Olympic howler throwing competitions in the big field. They fly kites at the top of the hill, and go fishing to the fishing lake . They catch crabs in the rock pools at low tide and undertake elaborate engineering feats on the sandbank, digging channels and dams to redirect streams on their way to the sea. The annual woodfired pizza is always a highlight, and Andrew and Denise are fantastic!

Relaxed and enjoyable, loved the den building, hammock swinging, paella cooking, bike riding and of course the fire pit.The only reason I was not keen on this site was that it was very shaded and I do love the sunshine. However, the woods might be better in poorer weather.

It was our first Feather Down stay and we had a fantastic time, so different to anything else we’ve done before. Loved the back to basics experience of no mod cons, collecting wood, making fire, being in nature, enjoying the quiet, noticing bird song, the sound of rain on the tent, going down to the beautiful river bank - simple pleasures that are much more rare nowadays. Also the hot tub was a BIG hit with the kids!
