Discover De Kalverweide in Kallenkote, Overijssel. This cosy dairy farm is run by farmer Goos, Femmie and their children Robert-Jan, Jalien and Femke. This authentic farm raises more than 100 cows that are milked daily by the automatic milking robot. Your tent is next to the meadow, so you can see the cows up close!

Walking tip: take the route De Woldberg of 8.4 km, climb the tower and visit 3 provinces in 1 day! What to do on De Kalverweide

De Kalverweide is home to many different animals: little lambs, cuddly pig Lapje, little rabbits, chickens, piglets... too many to mention! After a busy day on the farm, it is time for a drink, visit the honesty shop and treat yourself to some delicious home-made Kalverweide cheese. Cook on the wood stove, enjoy the view of the meadow and make a campfire next to your tent. In the evening, crawl into your comfy bed.
