When was the last time you played a board game with the whole family, by candle-light? Or spent a day without screens? Probably a long time ago. At Feather Down Farms, we know that having time for each other is the best luxury of all. At our farms, you won't find electricity or wi-fi. Instead there are oil lamps, wood-fires and candles. No computer games but cows by the tent. And no induction oven, instead a wood-burning stove to cook the simplest and most delicious meals in the world.
At Feather Down Farms you'll experience how the luxurious the basics are. How to take your time and give yourselves to each other. But without scrimping as our canvas hideaways are almost 500 square feet, most of them with their own shower and comfy beds.
A summer holiday full of adventures
You can not only relax to your heart's content on the farm, it's also the place for adventure. Discover farm-life, the animals and let the farmer teach you more. If you're lucky, you can help the farmer feed the animals or milk the cows. If you're even luckier, you might get to see a calf or a lamb being born! At every farm there are different animals, from alpacas to donkeys, rabbits and goats.
Worn out by all that adventure? Plunge into your own hot-tub if you've booked one. Or cook a delicious stew with local produce on the wood-burning stove.

Your canvas hideaway consists of three bedrooms, equipped with premium, unbelievably comfortable mattresses. You will find a spacious double bed, a cosy cupboard bed, and a handy bunk bed, ideal for up to 5 adults and a child up to 12 years old. Your kitchen is also fully equipped, guaranteeing the tastiest meals on your own wood-burning stove, and don't forget your own flushing toilet and private shower.
