Absolutely brilliant. Our hosts Hannah and Will went above and beyond for us. The farm was amazing with loads to do for everyone. My children especially loved the pony grooming and pizza night. Everything was really nicely laid out with easy access to walking and cycling paths. Lots to do near by in the local area as well.

I loved it, the children loved it. A little bit of rain produced an inviting mudslide for my son, we visited the shower block 3 times in a row... The facilities were good, no complaints. Hannah and Will were amazing hosts, they went out of their way to make you feel welcome, eg taking us to see newly hatched goslings. The farm shop was really well stocked with local and interesting foods eg seed snacks, gluten free gnocchi and jelly sweets! A basic hand drawn map of the farm and areas would be good. There was a track the other side of the wood. As it's not enclosed you have to be aware where your children may run off to. Plus you need a big bell to call them back! There is a huge picnic table under a covered area, one of the main reasons we picked this site again, so we weren't trapped in our tents by downpours. If there were any more plans to develop this site then another covered communal space with a few outdoor comfy benches would be good, or extend the space so there is open floor space next to the picnic table. Take a camping stove as the wood burner is slow to heat water. Take plenty of battery or solar powered lighting.

Great Weekend, lovely hosts who went out of there way to make sure everything was just right. Can you believe the narrow gauge train station phoned the pub we were having lunch in and asked if we were ready to go back home! we hadn't finished so the landlord and the farm owner gave us all a lift home!! Absolutely fantastic.

We had a wonderful relaxing holiday on the farm with our two sons. They thoroughly enjoyed being outdoors and exploring the woods and the farm. We collected eggs from the chickens each day and had a very interesting walk with Andrew the Farmer. We were also able to explore the surrounding areas including Battle and Bodium Castle. A beautiful spot! We loved it.

Amazing weekend. We booked the whole site for 7 families. So nice for the kids to be free range (compared to structured London living) and so relaxing for the parents. No schedules or cars, just fun, relaxation and good times. Anna and Will are fabulous hosts who couldn't have done enough for us - so thoughtful and helpful. And Luke's farm tours were great fun and really interesting. Tents superb and loving the new gas showers! Thank you all very much.

Had a fabulous weekend! Thoroughly enjoyed the new frills tents and the location of our 3 tents was perfect for our party and our noisy teenagers! Still plenty to amaze and occupy younger children, teenagers and adults alike!

Amazing! We had the best weekend just adventuring around the farm, feeding the animals, fishing for Crayfish, making pizza's and soaking up the sun.

We came with two other families from school. We had an amazing time. It was a proper outdoor weekend for us all. It started with an amazing tour of the farm on Saturday morning, followed by an egg hunt for the children, then pony grooming. We then built a raft in the afternoon and the children kayaked on the pond too. We used the pizza oven in the evening and finished off with a game of footie on the field, topped off with toasting marshmallows on the fire. We all had such a great time. It was great to see the kids outdoors all weekend and especially with no iPads! The family who own the farm were so welcoming and fantastic with the children too.

A fantastic holiday. Richard and Wendy are amazing hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The children loved seeing and feeding all the animals. We will definitely be back.

We had the most wonderful stay at Moor Farm. We arrived on a damp Friday afternoon, but that was soon dispelled by the warmth of the welcome from the Watts family. Richard helped us to take our kit up to the tent and was cheerful, informative and fun. Our 5 year old looked enviously at the quad bike, and was rewarded with a personal ride by Richard. This was indicative of how well we were looked after. The weather during our stay was a bit variable but even in the rain, the tent was very cozy and comfortable. Matthew, Wendy and Richard produced a superb pizza evening, and we really enjoyed the farm tour. Our youngster was thrilled to help Matthew feed the calves and pigs, and Dad learned a lot as well. Nothing was too much trouble, we were encouraged to go scrumping in the orchards and check our own hen house for eggs, the freshest we will ever have. Truly a lovely weekend, we feel privileged to have been part of Moor Farm for a few days. Can't thank them enough, and would love to return.
