Warm, helpful hospitality. Food was fresh and delicious - we sampled home cooked meals as well as using fresh ingredients to make our own meals. The kids loved the clean, safe open space to run around and play with the other children, and they loved being able to meet the animals up close!

Amazing hosts, went above and beyond to make us all feel welcome. Our children had the best time too and didn't want to leave. This is our 8th Feather Down and we'd definitely come back here again. Best pizzas ever and great quality meat provided in the BBQ and Breakfast boxes. And the home made treats on offer were extremely tasty too!

Yes, we had a wondeful time. Lovely weather made it a perfect weekend, with the children happily roaming free and the adults enjoying relaxing time in the sun.

We had a fantastic family getaway, truly immersed in nature with lots to do on site. Kevan and Joy were great hosts, very welcoming, knowledgeable and passionate. We have 4 children of varying ages and there was something for everyone. The water experience was a great afternoon and we even got a glimpse of a stag! We would definitely recomend a visit!

Fantastic stay - the twelve children in our group ranged from 6 to 13 years of age and all had a great time. Jo and Gill could not have been more helpful - they supplied the raft building material (a huge amount of fun for the older kids), the round the farm treasure hunt, books on how to build dens, a cut and colour kit for the younger children and a handout for a walk across the fields to the local pub. Well stocked honesty shop and a heated shower block with endless hot water - great for when the children tried bog crossing and came back covered head to toe in mud!! Tents were in a beautiful setting with views across the valley . . . .couldn't have asked for anything more.

Yes, it was lovely and exceeded our expectations. The children had an amazing time and loved collecting eggs, feeding lambs and playing in the woods.

A real "off grid" experience. Tent was fabulous, site gorgeous and so quiet. Tents well spaced out and we were tucked away at the end. Owners very helpful. Not sure I would take the dog again, we took a tether lead for outside but had to tie him up inside the tent as well as he could escape quite easily which was a bit of a pain as he was always getting tangled up. Views glorious. Free eggs a bonus.

Wonderful. Great location. Kate and James were excellent hosts, very helpful and nothing seemed any trouble. Having a toilet in the tent was a luxury. It would be even better if there was a small wash basin so you wouldn't have to use the kitchen sink.

Very peaceful lovely farm ..the hot tub was disappointing I don’t think it should be communal considering the price every tent should have one the shop could be more stocked but overall a very nice place and so much space very tranquil

We had such a wonderful authentic experience. The tent was amazing and equipped with just what we needed. Rory and Hazel were so kind and welcoming and answered all our questions. They even invited the kids to their farm to see their miniature donkeys.

We had a very enjoyable stay in the idyllic surroundings of Manor Farm on the hottest weekend of the year in 2012! Our kids really enjoyed the freedom to roam around the farm in a safe environment and especially the ability to collect eggs from the chickens and the honesty shop

We had such an amazing time at Featherdown. Just what our family needed. I cannot recommend college farm enough. Marcus and Lucy are so helpful and welcoming. My daughter loved the horse grooming session with Lucy. We will certainly be booking again.

We had a fabulous time at College Farm! Marcus and Lucy were perfect hosts providing such a warm welcome and relaxed environment. Our three children absolutely loved it - none of them wanted to leave and they are already pestering about when we can go back! The farm walk, horse grooming, hay barn, egg collecting, trampoline, pizza night were all big hits on top of the excitement of sleeping in a canvas tent, cupboard bed, candlelight and wood burning stove. All the fun parts of camping without the hard bits... ideal when you have three children under 5yrs! Incredibly relaxing for parents also knowing that your children are playing happily in a safe environment.
