It was great. In the countryside and what seemed a million miles away from the hectic days we usually call 'normality'. We had a lovely time with the children feeding the animals, searching the hen pens for eggs and even teaching the kids how to fly kites. Anything we needed could be purchased or ordered from the honesty shop

We had a wonderful Easter week at New Barn Farm with our 8 year old grand-daughter. She loved everything from grooming the ponies to caring for her own guinea pig for the week. She collected eggs, fed the pigs, saw a lamb born, held baby chicks in the small barn and milked sheep in a neighbouring farm. Plenty of opportunity to interact with other families and all the children loved the pedal go karts and the rope swing in the woodland area. Pizza evenings were fun and the farmer's wife cooked wonderfully tasty meals delivered to our tent on the days we opted not to cook for ourselves. The tents have a lovely rustic feel and our grand-daughter loved the cupboard bed. There were a few colder mornings and evenings in early April but cosy once we got our wood burning stove going. We also cooked outside including a 'farmer's stew' (ingredients supplied for us) which added to the experience. The honesty shop was a delightful concept for our grand-daughter and collecting the chopped wood another new experience. Hannah and Will are wonderful hosts and were always happy to go the extra mile. We have very fond memories of our time at New Barn Farm.

Very relaxing experience even with three kids. Kids were kept amused by the animals most of the day, they absolutely loved it.Will & Hannah were very helpful and made the whole experience easier.

Our 5th Featherdown Farm and one of our favourites! They are all great. We loved the lake with hot tub and launch pad. Pony grooming was also excellent.

Faye, Austin and their lovely children were absolutely fantastic and couldn't do enough for us. We've done Featherdown before but this was our first 'Frills' experience and it was brilliant. We couldn't get the kids out of the hot tubs but when we did it was such a treat to sit in with the beautiful views and animals all around. We didn't bother with the outdoor showers. The additional space / veranda were great and made such a difference - the tent didn't get half as messy as it has in previous years! Loved it.

We have been visiting Featherdown farms for many years and have always had a wonderful time. This was no exception. It was a fantastic, relaxing weekend and lovely family time together.

This was our third stay on a Feather Down Farm and by far the best with a great location, an absolutely stunning view and Edward was the most friendly and caring host all through the week. The kids loved playing with Edwards labrador Harvey each day until everyone was out of breath 😄 This location offers an absolutely one off view and a lot of lovely things to do in the Devon area.

Amazing weekend. We booked the whole site for 7 families. So nice for the kids to be free range (compared to structured London living) and so relaxing for the parents. No schedules or cars, just fun, relaxation and good times. Anna and Will are fabulous hosts who couldn't have done enough for us - so thoughtful and helpful. And Luke's farm tours were great fun and really interesting. Tents superb and loving the new gas showers! Thank you all very much.

We came to the farm to stay as part of my wedding weekend. The tents offered a great place to stay for rest and quiet during the weekend. I loved having to do things by candlelight, and we enjoyed breakfasts outside on the decking in the sun! The shower in the tent was hot which was amazing - you just need to give it some time. Loved coming to made beds, and we had all we needed.

Absolutely excellent, our stay surpassed expectations. The tent was scrupulously clean, and contained absolutely everything we required.We throughly enjoyed ourselves, the kids had an absolute ball, they especially enjoyed playing on the hay-bales & looking after the rabbits.The hosts, Inge & Jonny couldn't have been more hospitable and I found the farm tour really interesting.
