Back in time: the wooden clogs

Take an extensive walking or cycling tour and discover what the Land of Maas and Waal has to offer! Nearby is the Three Dikes Point, where the Waaldijk, Maasdijk and Heerewaarden dikes meet. Crazy about fishing? This is also possible near the farm. Looking for a cosy terrace or museum? Go to Den Bosch or Nijmegen. Furthermore, there is a swimming pool in Dreumel, the gardens of Appeltern, indoor playground Wameland and the farmer's footpath Klompenpad runs along the farm. Still have some time left? Take a canoe up the Wetering river.

What to do at Hoeve de Betuwe

Take a walk with the alpacas; the farmer's wife will provide a route and a well-stocked picnic basket for you. Play football, jump on the trampoline or swing in the play barn, it's all possible here! Help take the cows out of the meadow, give the calves milk and help feed all the other farm animals. When you walk back to your tent, don't forget to visit the farm shop for fresh vegetables, directly from the land! After a full day, gather around the woodstove to cook together. Fresh vegetables, dining by candlelight, and at the end of the day, tired but satisfied, you step into your comfy bed.

Daisy and Tom

We are Tom, Daisy en Stach Cruijsen. We live in the middle of the field where we have all the space and freedom to enjoy the company of our animals. Our neighbours are Yom his parents Petra en Rene Cruijsen. Together we run our organic and dairy farm.

Our passion is organic and responsible farming!
