Farm stays under canvas

We had a fantastic time at Hidcote- the kids spent all weekend with the hens, the pet pig and the horses. John took all the kids to feed the orphan lambs their evening bottles. And they were lucky to see the blacksmith change the horses shoes and come home with lucky horseshoes to keep._x000D_ John made sure we knew where to find everything and let the children roam around his farm freely which they loved._x000D_ We will really recommend this as a great experience._x000D_ _x000D_ J

The facilities here are amazing. The showers are close by and easily accessible. It was a really nice touch to have a whole family room allocated to our tent so no sharing! The electric shower and hairdryer were bliss after a long day! The site is very quiet and well positioned away from the road. The children’s play area is big enough to entertain children for their stay. The honesty shop is well stocked and comes with cubby boxes for phone charging. The farmer was polite and considerate, coming to see if we were ok during our stay. This is one of the nicer sites we have stayed at and would recommend highly. If you are new to Featherdown be sure to ask for guidance on what to do before you get there!

We had the most brilliant stay at Les Jardins des Coccinelles. We didn’t really know what to expect but it was a wonderful experience, start to finish. Sabrina was an incredible host - the breakfast was beautiful and we joined a pizza night she was hosting too. She had hand made everything, and the dessert was honestly one of the best I’ve had. The farm was beautiful and we loved the tour. Her dogs are incredibly friendly and relaxed. Our kids loved feeding the chickens and goats from our food recycling each morning and the tent was so comfortable and clean. We hope to return.
