Going without electricity is our greatest luxury!

Your canvas hideaway consists of three bedrooms, equipped with premium, unbelievably comfortable mattresses. You will find a spacious double bed, a cosy cupboard bed, and a handy bunk bed, ideal for up to 5 adults and a child up to 12 years old. Your kitchen is also fully equipped, guaranteeing the tastiest meals on your own wood-burning stove, and don't forget your own flushing toilet and private shower.

Good family outdoor weekend, a compromise between 'proper' camping and lodges so both my husband and I were happy! It was a good location and we really enjoyed meeting the family and being shown around the farm. It made the weekend different and more memorable than just a camping trip in a field. We particularly liked cooking with the pizza/bread oven, and the fresh eggs from the chickens.

Yet another very enjoyable stay at college farm, Lucy, Marcus, Henry and William couldn't have been more welcoming about sharing their beautiful setting with us. The frills tents are great, loved the new decking, just a shame they are so expensive, especially in the school holidays! Looking forward to next time, thanks for everything X

This was a weekend for 3 generations & 4 dogs! Our hosts, James & Kate were extremely efficient , helpful & friendly. The tents were larger than I had anticipated with really comfortable beds. Access to walks 5oyards away & magnificent countryside . Would definitely go again.

It was an absolutely brilliant weekend. We chose Warren Farm to celebrate my wife's 30th birthday with her family and we couldn't have made a better choice. James and Kate were so hospitable and made all the extra little surprises I wanted to organise really easy. The farm tour was an absolute highlight as was the pizza making night which everyone thought was fantastic. We happily recommend Featherdown to all our friends and this was our fourth holiday with you and most definitely not our last!!

As always (and I think this was our 6th time at Lunsford farm) we all had a brilliant time. This year we particularly enjoyed the lamb supper, prepared by Andrew and Denise in the Dutch Oven. But also the Sausage Casserole, home cooked by Denise and enjoyed by us on our last night, was excellent. Our four year old son declared Denise to be his favourite chef in the whole wide world (which comes as a bit of a blow for his granny, who held this position until then...). Andrew and Denise are incredibly welcoming and thoughtful hosts. This year we stayed while the football world cup semi-finals were on. Andrew knew that we'd planned to go and watch the match at the local Pub, the Royal Oak, thinking it might be the last time I could watch my team in the tournament. Arriving at the pub we found that Andrew had phoned ahead and reserved the table with the best view for us! We're already planning to go back next year (the farm and the pub!).
