Farm stays under canvas

We had an amazing weekend! Joy and Kevan were great hosts, we loved the farm tour, pony experience and dusk walk. The tent is well equipped, our son loved playing with the other children in the woods making dens and dams in the stream. Probably the best part was swimming in the lake and using the hot tub while being watched by the huge red deer. Thank you so much Joy and Kevan! Highly recommend this farm.

Thank you so much to Gill for a wonderful weekend on your beautiful farm! Boating on the pond, feeding the lambs, running wild in the woods, playing football on the sports field & using the many rope swings kept our kids easily entertained for the whole weekend & they are desperate to return. A really special place with a lovely host.

We have just returned from a fantastic five days in Devon with our kids. It was our first time at a Featherdown Farm and although we had a fair idea of the set up, we were pleasantly surprised with just how comfy and clean the accommodation was. The kids loved their bunk beds and our teen was more than happy with his cupboard bed. Cooking was made a breeze by being able to pre-order delicious home-cooked meals from Jayne that we simply finished off on our stove and BBQ. The hot tub was an added bonus and the kids thoroughly enjoyed the freedom and friends they discovered on the farm. The beach was close enough to enjoy a day trip with buckets and spades plus the forest school was a big hit. The kids are already asking with they can return - high praise indeed!

We had a wonderful weekend with our two young boys (5 and 2). They had the space and freedom to run and play, and loved the interaction with the animals including bottle feeding calves and lambs. The tent was a perfect set up, the fun of camping and staying outside without having to bring the kit. Also very dog friendly, our dog was happy to be there and we just made sure he was kept on a lead/long line.
