Stayed on a Wowcher weekend break with my three grandchildren aged between 8 and 12. They loved it as a complete new experience for them. The food in the cafe, though a little on the expensive side was amazing. The guy on site, Neil was very helpful indeed. Would return here again definitely

Peaceful, wilderness, beautiful location with a swing, a boat and a hot tub - what more could you want!

What a fantastic setting for a family holiday! The children enjoyed boating on the lake, the rope swing and toasting marshmallows on a campfire. They also loved the hot tub, which heated up a lot quicker than we expected.
We were warmly welcomed and everything was well explained so we could quickly settle in to the experience.
It was an adventure that we can’t wait to do again and so booked for next year as soon as we arrived home!!!!

A fab break away from it all, kids had a ball and didn't once complain about anything to do!They loved the lake and hired one of the boats for the day as well, we had everything we needed for our break, will bring torches next time as we forgot to pack them but was fine without. Had wood there for us for the stove and hot tub and just bought extra at a good price for the next night.Hot tub takes a couple of hours to heat up and fill for the first time so would recommend doing that straight away. They have frozen water bottles to put in the box for you to keep things cool as well, brilliant idea!Enough room to sleep 8 people as well and the tents are spacious as well, 2 people have camp beds in another smaller tent that also has a selection of games in it.Loved the stove inside and cooking on it was fine, all utensils and pans and kettle provided as well. The shower outside was great, does give you hot water and was great to sit out on a night by the fire pit near the lake and we were lucky to get one of the tents that was opposite it's own little pier onto the lake.Families and couples will absolutely love this place, a true get away from it all place.

Had an amazingly chilled time. Suitable for all ages. Thoroughly enjoyed by all including children aged 15,16 and 20! Had moonlight dips in the lake followed by a dip in the hot tub. Walked up the Nicky Nook and visited the farm cafe which serve delicious food. The tents are very secluded and private so you don't notice anyone else is there. Neil the farmer was very helpful and always on standby in case you needed anything

Great spot, beautiful lake for dipping in and out of, lovely walks around the park and hills, and good selection of local places to eat, our best glamping experience to date.

Blissful relaxation and so good for the soul.

10
Excellent. Beautiful location

10
The perfect break for our family to switch off from the stresses of life and spend proper, quality time together. Lake swimming, hot tub, amazing walks and marshmallows around the camp fire make sure everyone is happy.

10
Amazing, back to basics with a few luxuries.

10
A truly wonderful back to nature experience in a beautiful, secluded setting

10
Stunning, peaceful location. The tent, hot tub etc was exactly as we have come to expect from Featherdown sites. Having our own boat on our own private beach all week was amazing, the kids spend most of the week either swimming or rowing around the lake. Neil was brilliant, he was available anytime dealing with request for extra pillows and kindling. A wonderful week away.

Fantastic location, Neil is a great host and nothing too much trouble, the tent is fully equipped with everything you need and beds are soooo comfy, slept like a log and returned home totally chilled out... can't wait to return

Wyresdale Park is a brilliant location - the setting of the tents amongst the trees next to the lake is just idyllic. We had excellent weather which made it even better. A very memorable holiday.

A peaceful, tranquil, outdoor family getaway for a very much needed break away bonding with the kids.

10
A fabulous experience using the wood fire stove and wood fire heated hot tub. A great family bonding experience in a beautiful location. Enjoyed being beside a lake and taking trips out in rowing boat - lot's of fun. Would recommend going for a dip in the lake, even though more than a little chilly!

Perfect- a wonderful much needed girly break away.

Idyllic

Feather down is like nothing I’ve experienced before. Our family had some much needed quality family time and felt mikes away from the real world.

10
We had the most amazing time. The location, lodge and nearby cafe and village were beautiful. We purchased some lovely jewellery from the local artisan Rachel in the lambing sheds. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

Relaxing and enjoyable

Location spot on right beside a beautiful lake with your very own jetty Plenty for the kids to do . Staff very accommodating, Neil was always around making sure you got the hang of fire lighting . Highly Recommend Wryesdale Park

10
Terrible. Tents in no way fit for purpose when nights are still at sub zero temperatures, particularly dangerous for young children or anyone with health conditions. We had to sleep in car and leave after the first night.

Wonderful

10
The most wonderful experience I’ve ever had. I had a fantastic time, and would highly recommend. The owners and all staff are very welcoming and friendly. Beautiful place to escape and reset.

10
We enjoyed our holiday, however, we would have liked to have known in advance that extra wood, kindle and firefighters was chargeable - this wasn’t mentioned in our welcome pack/holiday documents, and you do use a lot of wood to heat the stove and hot tub.

Wyresdale is such a beautiful setting, we swam and boated on the the lake and took walks from our camp, not using the car at all! We made fires and sat in the hot hot tub until we were pink!! We loved it!
