A glamping holiday on a farm in Arfon

Outdoors lovers will appreciate the abundance of opportunities that are to be experienced within Arfon. It goes without saying that a day out to Snowdonia is certainly a must, especially for those keen on mountain biking and hiking. Take in the breathtaking far-reaching views as you make it to the top. Other than hiking and cycling, there are also other activities to be experienced within the Snowdonia National Park. Take the little ones for a visit to the Snowdon Mountain Railway which is a tourist railway that travels for 4.7 miles from Llanberis to the summit of Snowdon, the highest peak in Wales or explore the medieval fortification of Harlech Castle situated atop a spur of rock close to the Irish Sea.

Spend your family holiday glamping at Glanmor Isaf Farm

You’re guaranteed a warm Welsh welcome when you arrive at Glanmor Isaf Farm for your North Wales family glamping holiday. The farm has stunning views towards Snowdonia and the Carneddau Mountains, where sheep and cattle graze. Look the other way and you’ll see that a private pebble beach is a mere field’s walk away. The farm is easily accessible via the upgraded A55 Expressway and is less than two hours drive from Manchester. On arrival, you’ll be met with a traditional Welsh family farm and beautiful, peaceful countryside. There are plenty of pet lambs around for bottle feeding until the end of June. The beach, both a nature reserve and a Site of Special Scientific Interest, as well as being chock-full of cockles and mussels for your campfire, is right next to the campsite.

For the adventurous, there are watersports on the Menai Straits at Plat Menai Centre, outdoor pursuits galore at Betws-y-Coed and Llanberis, and birdwatching at Llanfairfechan, all around 20 minutes away. Also amazing is the Bounce Below indoor cave trampoline experience at Gwynedd. For the younger guests, GreenWood Forest Park and Anglesey Sea Zoo are ideal.
