Seasonal highlights

As of this moment, it is possible to book a stay for our 2018 season, a new season filled with anticipated events that our guests look forward to such as the Easter weekend, Midsummer Bonfire weekend, Stew Pot Weekend and more. The Feather Down experience has been embraced by families in particular who enjoy getting back to nature in the wonderful countryside and learning all about farming.

For those who aren't patient enough to wait till next year it is also possible to book a stay during the colder months, where our tents close for the season at the end of October till Easter, our cabins are available all year round.

More capacity

Due to the success in 2017, Feather Down is adding more tents and cabins in the UK!  Since introducing the 4 person Log Cabin at Manor Farm earlier this year, Ilfracombe Farm will be next on the list for 2018 to feature 2 of the cabins. Another location that will be expanding is Wambrook Farm, which will have an additional Canvas Frills Lodge - one of our most loved accommodations.

Short stays

Besides expanding in capacity, after the success of offering flexible short stays at some locations in 2017, we have decided to continue this and make it available at even more locations! Collection location Acton Scott will be followed by Wyresdale Park on offering everyday arrivals from Monday through Friday along with some other locations that will offer a variety of short stays.

An introduction to glamping

Glamping is a blend of ‘glamorous’ and ‘camping’. Camping usually brings to mind a tent, air mattresses, a gas cooker and communal showers. Feather Down thought ‘We can do better!’ The Feather Down glamping concept combines the cosy feeling of camping with the luxury of a cottage. No stress about setting up tents, leaky air mattresses or scurrying across the camping site with a roll of toilet paper; instead the pure luxury of high-quality mattresses, a well-equipped kitchen, and a private shower and toilet.

Feather Down, glamping pioneers

European leader in glamping holidays, Feather Down, once again offers its luxurious accommodations at the most beautiful locations in the UK and abroad. Holidays with Feather Down are about getting back to the simple life, without electricity and Wi-Fi. The concept was born about 10 years ago in the Netherlands, and Feather Down now has thousands of customers from all over the UK and Europe; in the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, France, Belgium and the US. An original holiday for families that is all about total relaxation.
