The local lake was lovely-bar, beach area, playground, bar. Although a very hot day it was very quiet. Had a fabulous day at Efteling...was open from 10am-11pm in the summer and was a very impressive theme park. Went to Antwerp for the day and had a lovely time exploring; eating waffles and frites. Took the wooden escalator down and walked half a mile under the river through the SintAnna Tunnel to the other side which gave us wonderful views of the city.
Efteling is an absolute must and not far away at all.
