Feather Down glamping in Germany

Did you know that we also have some very nice farms in Germany? The German farms are all surrounded by nature, in beautiful and unique locations! In Germany, we call Feather Down “WiesenBett” – it means bed in the meadow. There are four farms in total, in the regions of the Black Forest, Bavaria, Sauerland, and Thuringen. We definitely recommend experiencing this glamping in Germany!

Hilserhof is located in the southern part of the Black Forest nature reserve. The farm is located near Triberg and within driving distance of Freiburg, Lake Constance and Switzerland. In the vicinity of the farm, you will find nature with many forests, deep ravines, and very high waterfalls. You will certainly not be bored here! There are cows and horses in the pasture and pigs, cats, rabbits, goats, chickens, ducks, and farm dog Jack walks on the farm. All these animals really want to eat so the farmer would be very happy if you come here to help. Once you have fed and stroked the animals, you can take a dip in the private pond. So fun is guaranteed in this place!

Staying with a farmer in the Thuringian Forest

At Hohenwarter Seehof Collection you can find a lot of animals, Dexter cattle, donkeys, pigs, pygmy goats, chickens and rabbits and you can help with feeding! Heidi and Rolf are the farmers of this special farm, thanks to them you will feel completely at home. From your tent, you will have a beautiful view of the Hohenwarter lake. There is also plenty to do in the area, swimming in the lake, fishing or rent a canoe, rowing boat or motorboat.
