A glamping holiday on the farm in Horsham

Within the Horsham District, there is plenty to experience to make your luxury camping trip complete. Visit the ruins of a circa-1070 Norman castle that is Bramber Castle or head out to Horsham Park which offers educational and sensory gardens, tennis courts, a skate park, and a cafe. Nymans, a 20th-century garden set around ruins has plants from around the world and offers guided walks, talks, and children's activities.

Hiking and cycling during your family holiday

There is plenty of hiking opportunities nearby such as the South Downs National Park that features chalk hills, wooded areas and more. Downs Link, a 36.7 mile footpath and bridleway linking the North Downs Way at St. Martha's Hill in Surrey with the South Downs Way is also something to include in your itinerary. Cycling opportunities are also present, for example at St. Leonard's Forest which is at the western end of the Wealden Forest Ridge that runs from Horsham to Tonbridge.

Book a glamping stay at Canfields Farm!

Just an hour from London lies Canfields Farm. Canfields is a beef farm that also has lambs and chickens you can help feed. The tents are sited on the edge of woodland, while Canfields itself nestles between the North and South Downs. The fantastic bluebell woods are perfect for den-building, stream-damming, and deer, butterfly and woodpecker spotting. On the farm, you can collect eggs from the Loman chickens and get to know the Goodwood lambs. The cows in the field next to you and horses at livery will be happy to keep you company.

Excellent walking and cycling adventures start right from your doorstep on the South Downs Way, and scenic towpath walks and canal boat trips can be taken locally. Fishing can be enjoyed at Furnace Lakes Fisheries nearby. The village of Rudgwick boasts four local pubs, the closest of which, The Fox, is just ten minutes' walk away.
