Stay on the farm and enjoy the simple things in life

communal showerWith a surface of 45m2, our environmentally friendly lodges are fully equipped for 6 people (5 adults and 1 child up to 12 years old) and blend in perfectly with nature. The thick canvas and wooded interior will take you back to the old, rustic days. There is no electricity and WIFI on our locations because we want you to be able to immerse yourself fully with family and friends. In return, the lighting from the oil lamps and candles will create a feeling of calmness, making a cosy and relaxed atmosphere in which you will enjoy telling stories or playing together. The warmth of the woodstove, the sight, and the sound of the crackling wood will enhance the warmth of your evenings and accentuate the feeling of well-being.

Even though our locations have their own character and uniqueness, it’s the comfort of our lodges that complete the Feather Down Experience. Bringing back the basics is what made our unique concept very popular with holidaymakers for more than 15 years. With this appeal, we have a lot of returning annual guests and have an average customer rating of 9.5/10. Guests of all ages will be bound to have a good time and each location offers something different to learn and discover – an experience you don’t want to miss with your loved ones!

Everything is included: bed linen, towels, and farmhouse shower

Bed linen will be included for each stay but only the double bed will be made upon arrival by the farmers, but you can make the other beds yourself. Here is a little tip from us – since it is a family getaway, why not let the wee ones make their own Feather Down nest while the parents can sit back and relax! If you are staying in The Canvas Lodge Farmhouse shower, this means you have opted for a shower by the farm – which are communal showers. Know that you will always be able to shower with warm water where electricity is also available to blow-dry your hair.
