Take a kettle and plug it in at the Honesty shop for a quick cup of coffee or hot water . There is no electricity on the site for the lodges to use directly inside them- only at the honesty shop . And take a small Primus stove for speed as well - saves having to cook on /heat up the wood burning fires and barbecues every time for little things .

Dined at a fabulous pub - The Vineyard at Lamberhurst (Jill had recommended the local one The Nock-something??? but the kitchen was closed when we went, so you need to check this. BTW we had the tent with a shower - having done Featherdowns before without the shower, this definitely helped overall comfort of our holiday.
